Rev. Mike Kalaw, Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima, a Catholic parish in an impoverished part of Metro Manila recognized the CBSL efforts of CN Seniors, Forrest Granzotto, Shaun Keiser, Davis Greinke and Andy Chang during the mass celebrating the Feast of Epiphany. He said, "Visiting the Philippines to help the poor in our country is a real gift of love! We will never forget you. On this the feast of the Three Kings, to us you are Magi who brought gifts of faith and hope." For almost three weeks in the Philippines, the CN boys were able to visit and help the following: a hospice for abused children & teens, home for the elderly, youth rehabilitation center, orphanages for street children and many more. The trip, as the project title suggests, was "Totally Christmas Philippines!" |
