JAPAN
A PHOTOGRAPHIC RESPONSE TO A TRAGEDY
  
    After the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck Japan last month, photography students were given the assignment of illustrating a hypothetical media article on the subject. The students were allowed fifteen minutes to come up with a response to this tragedy. In addition to this month's cover shot by James Madison and the image on the Table of Contents page by Izzy Licursi, the images on this page were submitted in response to the assignment.
