In the Beginning of all time, there was life beyond Earth. Real human beings were living their lives all across the galaxy. They spoke different languages and had different cultures. The people of Mars had smooth caramel skin and huge, deep brown eyes. Their world was full of heat, massive sand dunes, and the most intricate sunsets. Far far away were the people of the Moon. The people of the Moon had skin as white as snow. Their eyes were a fierce blue and their skin was spotted with freckles. They lived in a world full of icy cool weather, white skies, and rough seas. Next there was Venus. The people who inhabited Venus had chocolate brown skin and thick dark hair that flowed like waves. These people danced through the night and wore clothes of beautiful, bright colors. Lastly there was Jupiter. Jupiter was full of people with silky black hair and almond shaped eyes. Their world was full of beautiful song, miles of green hills, and breathtaking, snow peaked mountains.

All these groups of people had their own rituals and practices and had no connection with the people beyond their planet. They were aware of the things at a distance from them, but had no interest in leaving their home. Each society was selfish and believed they deserved the best. The first fight broke through after the people of Mars grew heated that they had no place to swim. They fought with the people of the Moon, demanding them to share some of their sea. The people of the Moon refused, however went on to beg Jupiter to teach them their beautiful song. Jupiter kept their song a secret but urged Venus to share their exquisite dance with them. Venus denied this request. These arguments caused a huge war of hatred among the planets. The people of the Moon made their sea much more beautiful and blue to anger the people of Mars. Venus made their dance more intricate and impressive to annoy Jupiter.

God witnessed these complications going on between the planets and the people and knew something had to be done. God forced the people of the Moon to share some of their sea with Mars. He made the people of Jupiter teach the Moon people how to sing their song, and he compelled the people of Venus to share their dance with Jupiter. The people of the galaxy were pleased with God’s work.

This was only a temporary solution. All the people were happy with their new gifts for a few years but soon enough, they needed more. The people of the Moon begged the people of Mars to give them some of their smooth caramel colored skin, and the people of Jupiter asked the people of Venus to share their dark, wavy hair. Again, God saw these disputes and knew he had to come up with a much more permanent solution.

God created a planet that was far from each of the original planets. He named this planet “Earth.” God took the Moon’s beautiful, rough seas, the moons fierce blue eyes, Mar’s heat and sunsets, and Jupiter’s green grass and snow peaked mountains. He took Venus’s dance and color, the Moon’s coldness, and Jupiter’s song. With all of these things, he created the Earth. He made this place a full, beautiful, and well-balanced planet. The people of Mars, the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter were so thankful for God’s actions, they all came together as one. All people, in all their beauty and diversity were together on Earth.

God was happy with his newest creation, and the people were too.
